The Investigation Process

Although not all cases necessarily require the hiring of a criminal or civil defense investigator, it is found to be highly recommended.  There are many case studies, especially in criminal defense cases where attorneys or individuals may have been better served in hiring a criminal or civil defense investigator.

The job of an investigator in criminal defense is not to determine whether or not a client is innocent or guilty but to seek out the facts and  supporting evidence that may have been missed by law enforcement, witnesses, or other agencies.  Criminal defense investigators seek out the pursuit of truth and justice through discovering information or bringing to light information that others may not want to be uncovered.

The tasks of a criminal defense investigation starts with a thorough examination of the discovery presented by the State.

Once discovery has been examined, the defense investigator begins the task of DEFENSE.
